Job Summary


The Judiciary Officer is responsible for handling student complaints, appeals and petitions and guiding
students to acknowledge responsibility and consequence of their actions in order to maintain a safe and
responsible campus environment. The Judiciary Officer is also responsible for administering PI’s student
disciplinary policy and liaising with local community stakeholders with problems regarding to off-campus
student behavior.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Work with staff and faculty to promote positive student behavior and engagement.

  • Meet with students who have raised a complaint, appeal or petition to understand the background and converse, as well as the students who have allegedly violated the student disciplinary code to understand and determine the seriousness and level of involvement.
  • Collaborate and liaise objectively between students and concerned parties to achieve a ways to resolve conflict in line with PI policies.
  • Advise students, faculty and other stakeholders on student conduct and discipline issues; provide advice on potential legal problems and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Manage the investigation of disciplinary measures and seek to implement measurement for conflict resolution.
  • Gather and analyze data; submit documentation to relevant PI Committee for action.
  • Document disciplinary cases, sanctions and investigations ‘ensure confidentiality and privacy of student records, in accordance with PI policies.
  • Monitor and closely follow up on students with any report of unsatisfactory behavior.
  • Develop and deliver outreach educational programs, as required, to educate PI members on the potential impact of their actions as well as their rights and responsibilities.
  • Attend committees and refer cases to committees as necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of PI related policies and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare annual reports as needed.
  • Perform other tasks and duties that may be from time to time required in order to meet the requirements of the role and the aims of the university.

Required Skills


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Higher Education, Counselling, Law or another relevant
discipline.

  • Post graduate degree is preferred.
  • Normally five years of experience in student affairs preferably in an education institution.
  • Experience working in the area of judicial programs/affairs.
  • Computer proficiency/skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is preferred.

Job Summary


The Head of Media & Marketing is responsible to plan, organize, monitor and control PI’s communications and marketing activities which include public relations, media, marketing and communications, and branding. The post holder has an important role in promoting the image of the University to the external community and support PI to achieve its objective of being the preeminent and preferred university in the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Ensure the implementation of the PR Department’s overall strategy, business plan and budget.

Ensure the implementation of the PR Department’s policies and procedures.

Manage delegated budgets.

Plan, organize and direct the activities of the Media & Marketing Section to ensure that services are provided efficiently and effectively while maximizing user satisfaction.

Ensure effective evaluation and quality assurance and implement necessary developmental and corrective actions.

Develop media and marketing strategies aimed at promoting PI’s services, programs and initiatives in order to promote the image of PI to the external community and support in achieving its objective of being recognized as a preeminent university in the region.

Plan and direct the development of a communication strategy to communicate PI’s awards and achievements regarding educational excellence, accreditation, strategic partnerships, etc. to the external community.

Follow up and ensure proper identification of local, international and regional media and marketing relations stakeholder requirements and expectations.

Lead the relationship with all media and marketing stakeholders to ensure seamless and positive communication between PI and different entities.

Oversee operational plans and activities for media and marketing relations, including social awareness programs, in order to achieve brand awareness in alignment with PI’s public relations strategy.

Develop compelling approaches in reaching out to public and identify key local, regional, and international media outlets and build strong working relationships.

Ensure all local, regional and international media channels are monitored closely including social, print and broadcast media and take the necessary proactive and reactive actions to ensure right messages are developed and conveyed.

Ensure all relevant preventive measures are in place to mitigate risks of the deterioration in the image of PI.

Handle escalated crisis situations in coordination with Legal if required and in compliance with crisis management policies and procedures; ensure damage control and positive relationships are maintained.

In case of a crisis situation, coordinate with other relevant internal and external stakeholders and lead or contribute to cross-functional crisis management teams to rebuild trust and confidence through key and timely messages.

In post-crisis situations, work closely with relevant functions’ management team to identify and implement reputation building strategies.

Oversee the development of content for speeches, brochures, advertising campaigns, media briefings, press releases, internal newsletters and other external publications to ensure proper messages are being conveyed to the general public; provide advice when appropriate.

Ensure all internal and external material developed, including written articles, presentations and emails comply with PI’s branding guidelines; take proper action when required.

Oversee the activities of promotions and campaigns and take necessary actions to improve process, content, messages, etc. to obtain desired outcomes.

Supervise the collection and publishing of PI Faculty member articles and researches.
Oversee artwork, design and photography for all PI publications

Job Summary

  • Process day to day payments and accounts data entries in an orderly and timely manner.
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
  • Prepare asset, liability, and capital accounts entries by analyzing account information.
  • Reconcile a wide variety of financial data for the purpose of maintaining accurate account balances and ensure compliance with established accounting practices.
  • Maintain internal/external customers’ confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Prepare Employees/ Faculty payments, cheques and bank transfer.
  • Follow up with ECUC students payments and process their cheques and cash payments.
  • Compile a wide variety of financial information related to work assignments for the purpose of providing required documentations and/or processing information.
  • Maintain financial information, files and records in order to ensure the availability of documentations and compliance with established policy and procedures.
  • Receive monthly payroll from HR department and control data entry including all details related to WPS (UAE – wages protection system).
  • Prepare reports as requested by the accounting manager.
  • Assist auditors by providing supporting documentations and information on internal process that is required for audit.
  • Prepare budget, ensure that adequate provision is made for all activities and monitor expenditure against approved budget.
  • Assist accounting manager in preparing ECUC overall expected/current budget by providing supportive documents.
  • Monitor the daily operational functions of cashier office.
  • Complete tasks as assigned within the expected time limit.

Required Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of the general financial theories and practices.
  • Good knowledge of UAE Wages Protection System (WPS).
  • Knowledge of ERP system in relation to accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and outlook.
